one turkey down

Because I impulsively bought a cheap digital camera on Woot!, I intend to periodically post random crappy pictures on slob. Here are today’s:

scenes from a post-industrial neo-warehouse workplace

In reality, I think I may have just wanted the opportunity to slap pseudo-artistic titles on crappy pictures. W00t!

And, as you can see, I’ve done some work to cover up said crappy quality with fun filters and special effects. This was necessary because the camera was, as I’ve mentioned, CHEAP. But SO CUTE. Just how I like ‘em.

Naturally, this process necessitated my spending all kinds of time despeckling and posterizing and cartooning (medium) instead of researching and writing about the history of Serbia and Montenegro. Little Montenegro!

Clever, no?

quote to go:

“Little Montenegro! He lifted up the words and nodded at them—with his smile. The smile comprehended Montenegro’s troubled history and sympathized with the brave struggles of the Montenegrin people. It appreciated fully the chain of national circumstances which had elicited this tribute from Montenegro’s warm little heart.”
